How does Funeral Live work?
Funeral Live works through a clear, intuitive platform where you, as a funeral home or crematorium, can view all upcoming scheduled ceremonies at a glance. There you can schedule new livestreams, manage existing ceremonies and facilitate the viewing of recordings.
1: Schedule ceremony
Do relatives want to use the option of livestreaming or recording a funeral ceremony for later viewing? Then simply create a new ceremony within Funeral Live with the click of a button. You then enter the date and time of the funeral.
The created funeral will appear in your overview, together with a corresponding login code. You give this code to the next of kin. With this code, they can give invitees access to the live stream once the ceremony starts. You can also initiate the sending of log-in codes to invitees from Funeral Live, if you want to relieve the next of kin of this burden.
2: Managing ceremonies
In your dashboard, you can retrieve, view and change scheduled ceremonies at any time. For example, if a funeral must unexpectedly be moved to another time. Also, you can always retrieve or change the access code later.
3: Livestreaming and watching back
During the ceremony, Uitvaart Live ensures that the image and audio from the auditorium are automatically broadcast via the live stream. Next of kin log in to the Funeral Live platform using the access code provided. There is no need to create an account. If next of kin log in before the ceremony has begun, they automatically see a clock that shows how long it is before the funeral begins.
Immediately after the ceremony, the recording is available for review. To do this, next of kin can simply use the same access code. As soon as they log in to the platform with this, the recording is ready for them. In Funeral Live, it is also easy to shorten the recording so that it starts for viewers at exactly the moment the ceremony begins.
Integration: Funeral Live in your auditorium, with your own corporate identity
Funeral Live works in conjunction with most common A/V systems in use in funeral homes and crematoria. However, every auditorium is different and every funeral home has its own house style.
