How does Funeral Planning work?
Funeral Planning offers a user-friendly, clear platform where you, as a funeral home or crematorium, can see all existing funeral bookings at a glance. Funeral directors can quickly and easily place a new booking and order related services, such as catering or a 24-hour room.
1: Viewing bookings
As a funeral home or crematorium, you can see all current bookings in your auditorium at a glance in the Funeral Planning dashboard. If you have multiple auditoriums, they will all be displayed in the dashboard. Only funeral directors you have pre-approved can book your auditoriums through the application.
Funeral directors, when they open the application, see what time slots are available in the auditorium of their choice. That information can be used immediately to work with next of kin to determine the appropriate time for the funeral.
2: Place booking
Within Funeral Planning, funeral directors add a new booking at the touch of a button. This can be done via computer, as well as easily via a tablet or smartphone, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
When making a new booking, funeral directors enter the desired auditorium, date and time, along with further details of the booking. The funeral director and you then receive immediate email confirmation that the booking has been placed.
3: Adding additional services
It is then possible to add additional services. For example, catering can be added to the booking.
Depending on the support at the funeral home, you can also have 24-hour rooms added to the booking. If you use our supplied digital signs with these rooms, they will automatically be provided with the correct name and corresponding images at the specified time.
