What is 302 Funeral?
302 Funeral offers a complete ecosystem of online applications developed specifically for the funeral industry. With solutions such as Playbook Online, Funeral Live and Aula Planning, we support funeral professionals in digitising, streamlining and improving the quality of their services around the ceremony.
Who are 302 Funeral's solutions intended for?
Our solutions are intended for a wide range of funeral professionals. This ranges from crematoria and funeral centres that manage their own locations, to the independent funeral director who, for example, organises a ceremony in a church or at another external location.
Can 302 Funeral help with setting up or replacing our A/V technology?
Although we do not supply hardware or carry out A/V installations ourselves, we are happy to think along with you. Thanks to our extensive national network, we have excellent contacts with specialised parties and can always recommend a suitable expert for your technical setup.
Who can I contact with a technical question or malfunction?
For technical questions or malfunctions, you can always contact us via our general telephone number. We are also available in the evenings and at weekends via our call forwarding service, so that you receive immediate support for urgent matters.
Can I start with one solution and expand later?
Yes, that is no problem at all. All 302 Funeral products are modular and can be purchased separately from one another. So you can start with the solution that is most urgent right now and easily expand with our other services at a later time.
Designing and playing ceremonies
Is the ceremony also playable without the Internet?
Designing and synchronizing a ceremony requires an Internet connection. Once the ceremony is stored locally, it can be played back without the Internet.
Can I design a ceremony together with several people?
Yes, you can forward the link for designing a ceremony to family members. This gives you the opportunity to design the ceremony with several people (at the same time).
Can I see a sample of what the ceremony will look like during designing
Through the preview you can control the ceremony. Here you can start the different blocks and thus preview the images and music.
Is the duration of the photos automatically calculated based on the music?
With a media block, the duration of the photo is automatically calculated based on the length of the music.
By clicking on photo settings it is possible to set a fixed number of seconds per photo. If the option “Repeat photos” is off. It will hold after the last photo.
Can I also make photos fullscreen?
It is possible to apply an edit per photo. To do this, click on the pencil at the bottom left of the photo. This will open the photo editor and it is possible to make various mutations on the photo. Pressing the chain icon will fix the canvas to a size that fills the screen.
Can I adjust the background if a photo does not fill the frame?
Yes, After opening a block it is possible to change settings by clicking on “Photo Settings.” This opens a window where various settings can be made. In the background settings, there are three choices for setting a background;
1. Choose a color: This allows you to select a fixed background color that will be visible if the photo does not fit screen.
2. Fixed photo as background: Allows you to upload a fixed photo to serve as background.
3: Photo out of focus as background: This option makes the current photo appear out of focus in the background.
Can I also upload videos?
Yes, If you have chosen a video block it is possible to up-load a video. Various formats may be offered and the maximum size of a video file is 1500MB.
Can I also change pictures in order?
Yes, Pictures, music and blocks can be changed in order by dragging them to the direction you want them to go. The blocks “walk-in” and “last goodbye” are not draggable.
My ceremony has already been submitted and I want to make changes, is this possible?
Ceremonies are automatically submitted 24 hours in advance by default. This prevents persons who have received the link from making changes. As a funeral director, you can open the ceremony at any time so that it can be edited again.
Can I use photos and video interchangeably?
Photos and videos are currently interchangeable. A separate block should be created for each media type.
Can we also import music from Spotify?
So far, unfortunately, this is not possible. However, it is possible to select music from the library or upload it yourself.
When relatives upload music is the volume corrected?
No corrections are made to the volume of the music when uploading songs.
When next of kin upload music, are these pieces of music automatically added to the music library?
No, Because not all music meets the same quality standards, it is not automatically added to the library. As a funeral director, you can add music (after checking and purchasing it) to the library to make it available to others.
Should the blocks be played in order?
No the blocks can be played in any order. Of course, it is also possible to play a block multiple times.
How do I see which block is active?
The left side of a block will have a green border if the block is active.
How do I see if a block has already played?
The left side of a block will have a gray border if a block has been played.
Can I also see the details of a block before I play it?
Via the details button it is possible to view the details of a block. This way, before starting a block, you can check what will be played.
What happens when I press the stop or pause button?
Once one presses the stop button, the current block is stopped and the fixed picture will appear on the screen. It will do this by the default block transition set.
The pause button allows one to pause a block. The music is slowly turned off and the current picture is held.
What are the minimum requirements for playing services with Draaiboek2go?
We recommend a laptop no older than 3 years with at least an Intel i5 or AMD Ryzen 5 processor and 16GB of working memory (RAM).
Live streaming and recording ceremonies
What is Funeral Live?
Funeral Live is a high-quality and secure streaming platform developed specifically for the funeral industry. It makes it possible to broadcast and record ceremonies live, so that relatives anywhere in the world can watch along or view the service later.
Who is Funeral Live intended for?
Funeral Live is intended for funeral organisations, funeral centres and crematoria with an auditorium where ceremonies take place.
Can relatives watch from anywhere in the world?
Yes. Relatives can join the livestream from anywhere in the world, as long as they have an internet connection and the correct access code.
Do viewers need to create an account to follow a livestream?
No. Viewers do not need an account. They receive a unique access code with which they can easily log in and watch the livestream or recording.
Can a ceremony also be recorded only, without a livestream?
Yes, that is possible. If you only want to record a ceremony, we advise you not to share the access code with viewers in advance. This way, the recording can be made available to the desired people afterwards.
Can relatives watch the recording back afterwards?
Yes. Depending on the settings and choice of the funeral organisation, the recording is available to watch back for up to 30 days after the ceremony by default.
How soon is the recording available after the ceremony?
The recording is usually available within a few minutes after the end of the ceremony.
How long does a recording remain available to watch back?
By default, a recording remains available to watch back for 30 days.
Can a recording be shortened or edited afterwards?
Yes. Funeral Live offers a user-friendly tool with which you can easily shorten the recording, for example so that it starts exactly at the moment the ceremony begins.
Who can watch the livestream and recording?
Anyone who has the correct access code can follow the livestream via our website and, if available, watch back the recording.
What do viewers see if they log in before the start time?
Viewers who log in before the start time see a countdown clock. This shows how much time remains before the livestream begins.
On which devices can I watch a livestream?
The livestream can be viewed via all modern web browsers, both on computers and laptops and on mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets.
Can Funeral Live be connected to the existing equipment in our auditorium?
In many cases, yes. Do you already have cameras or other A/V equipment in your auditorium? Then we can often easily connect Funeral Live to it. We are happy to look together at what is possible in your situation.
Can Funeral Live be designed in our own house style?
Yes. Various parts of Funeral Live can be adapted to your house style, so that the environment recognisably matches your organisation.
Can I stop the livestream earlier than the recording?
Yes. It is possible to end the livestream for remote viewers earlier, while the recording continues. This way, for example, the final farewell can be recorded but not broadcast live.
Booking auditoriums and rooms digitally
What is Aula Planning?
Aula Planning is an online planning system that allows crematoria and funeral centres to have auditoriums, 24-hour rooms, mourning rooms and mortuaries reserved digitally. Funeral directors can see immediately which rooms are available and receive a confirmation as soon as they place a booking.
Who is Aula Planning intended for?
Aula Planning is developed for crematoria and funeral centres that want to manage their auditorium and room reservations clearly, efficiently and digitally.
Can Aula Planning handle multiple auditoriums intelligently?
Yes. Aula Planning can be set up with complex booking rules for multiple auditoriums. For example, it can be set so that a small auditorium is automatically unavailable as soon as the large auditorium is booked at the same time.
Can I work with fixed blocks for booking auditoriums?
Yes. You can work with fixed time blocks for reservations. Standard time can be included for, for example, clearing up, cleaning or preparing for the next ceremony.
Is Aula Planning available 24 hours a day?
Yes. Funeral directors can view available rooms and place bookings 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Which rooms can I reserve via Aula Planning?
Via Aula Planning you can reserve auditoriums, 24-hour rooms, mourning rooms and mortuaries, among others.
Who can book auditoriums via Aula Planning?
Only funeral directors who have been approved by your organisation and granted access can reserve auditoriums and other available rooms.
How do I give a funeral director access to our booking system?
When a funeral company registers, you can approve it from within the system. After your approval, the funeral company gains access to booking your auditoriums and other available rooms.
Can Aula Planning be linked to Playbook Online and Funeral Live?
Yes. Aula Planning can be linked directly to Playbook Online and Funeral Live. When a booking is placed outside office hours, for example, the corresponding playbook and livestream environment can be set up automatically.
How do the digital signs work for 24-hour rooms?
For 24-hour rooms we offer an XML or HTML feed. This automatically displays the name of the deceased on the digital sign.
